SUPPORT THE CHILDREN
​How to help
As a small but growing NGO, every donation matters to us, no matter how big or small. We are in need of funds for a variety of areas as we wish to provide the best services for differently abled children. We are actively seeking donations for a variety of areas at Parivartan School such as exercise equipment for the occupation therapy room, computers and laptops for skills training, and funds for improved teacher training and more resources for the children.
Advocacy
In India, there is a lack of attention and awareness toward differently abled children. As a result, parents lack the guidance and support to help their children. PORDAC strives to raise awareness for special needs and to advocate for the protection of the rights of differently abled children and their rehabilitation. We believe that even one person spreading awareness can make a difference.
Parivartan School
An initiative of PORDAC, Parivartan School was started to be a safe and supportive learning environment for differently abled children. Here the children are free to learn at their own pace. Services offered include occupational therapy, speech therapy, individualized academic plans and basic skills training. We are expanding every day and hope to offer more and more resources for students in the future.
